Tusker FC Secures Contract Renewals for Ojok and Momanyi for 2023/24 Season
In a strategic move to fortify their squad ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, Tusker FC, a powerhouse in the FKF Premier League, has successfully negotiated contract extensions with two pivotal members of their team.

The Ruaraka-based club joyfully announced the continuation of their partnership with Deogratious Ojok, the formidable Ugandan forward, and Charles Momanyi, the steadfast Kenyan defender.
Deogratious Ojok, who initially became a part of Tusker FC in August 2021, was nearing the end of his two-year tenure with the club. Demonstrating their faith in his abilities and contribution to the team, the club made a decisive move to extend his contract until 2024.
"Ojok is here to stay! We're thrilled to confirm that our Ugandan striker, Deogratious Ojok, has decided to prolong his journey with us at Ruaraka for an additional season," the club joyously proclaimed on Thursday.
Similarly, Charles Momanyi, who transitioned to Tusker FC from Gor Mahia in August 2021, has also reaffirmed his commitment to the team, signing on for another season of defensive prowess.
"Chalo is not going anywhere! It brings us immense pleasure to announce that Charles Momanyi, our defensive linchpin, has agreed to extend his tenure with the Brewers for yet another season," the club stated.
These contract renewals have come as a significant boost for the club, especially following the recent departure of several key players, including seasoned veterans like Kevin Monyi and Jackson Macharia, who had been integral to Tusker’s success over seven seasons.
Furthermore, the club has bid adieu to accomplished players Humphrey Mieno, Shami Mwinyi, and Tanzanian defender Kalos Kirenge, making the retention of Ojok and Momanyi all the more crucial.
